Trophy Hunts for Rocky Mountain Goats
This unique animal is probably the most underrated trophy big game animal in North America. Living in the high, rocky crags of some of British Columbia's toughest country, these are a great challenge for any big game hunter. These hunts combine well with Elk, Moose, Mule Deer, Stone Sheep, and Mountain Caribou.
Hunt #1: This hunt takes place in perhaps the best big trophy Mountain Goat area in North America, in the northern Coast Mountains of British Columbia. Goats can be hunted here from September into February. Backpack style hunting.
Hunt #2: Northern British Columbia hunt in one of the most remote areas in North America. Located about 225 air miles northeast of Smithers. Small outfitter, taking only a very limited number of clients. Hunt can be combined well with trophy moose, mountain caribou or stone sheep. Great hunt, book early! Backpacking required on most goat hunts.
Hunt #3: Located in the southern Yukon, this exclusive area has great goat and mountain caribou hunting. Some of the nicest people in the hunting industry. Horseback hunts. Books 1-3 years in advance.
Hunt #4: Fly-in Goat hunt north of Smithers, in the Skeena River country. This hunt combines best with Moose & Black Bear. Cabin accommodations, great hunt.
Hunt #5: Trophy Mountain Goat hunt in the Purcells of southern British Columbia. Cabins, horseback hunt. Combines very well with trophy elk hunting. Excellent outfitter, great game area. Complete package includes licenses, GST, etc.
Hunt #6: Hunt goats in Northwestern BC in the Telegraph Creek-Stikine River area. This is a phenomenal trophy producing area on this fair chase only hunt. Goats here average 9-11 inches. Hunts are 12 days, 1x1 guided. A great opportunity to harvest a trophy animal. Cabin or tent accommodations. Can combine with mountain caribou and/or moose. May add on a black bear. Hunt #7: Bordering Spatsizi Provincial Park in northern British Columbia, this is a great fly-in, backpack style hunt for big Mountain Goats. Hunts combine well with Moose and Mountain Caribou. Excellent outfitter.
Hunt #8: Northwestern British Columbia family run outfit taking only a few clients each year. Horseback style hunt. One of our easiest Mountain Goat hunts. Combines well with Moose, Mountain Caribou, and Black Bear. Hunt has a base price and then trophy fees.
Hunt #9: Hunt the west side of the Bull River in one of BC's best game areas. First class hunt. Horseback, cabins. Excellent outfitters.
